Ultimate Software (Nasdaq: ULTI), a leading provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions in the cloud, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Mercer, a global consulting leader in advancing health, wealth, and career—and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE: MMC)—allowing UltiPro customers to use Mercer | Sirota’s benchmarking data to understand how their own key workforce metrics, such as employee satisfaction and employee engagement, compare to those of similar businesses.
Today’s labor market is highly competitive, with an increasing focus on employee satisfaction and engagement. Many organizations want to better understand how the employee experiences at their own organizations stack up against companies in the same industry or geography. Ultimate’s agreement with Mercer enables UltiPro customers to compare their own company’s employee survey scores with the average scores of other similar organizations. Leveraging Mercer | Sirota’s expertise in engagement survey design and robust benchmarking from nearly 6 million individual data points, Ultimate’s customers who use UltiPro’s employee survey and sentiment analysis tool, UltiPro Perception, will now be able to select from more than 130 questions to capture their own employees’ ratings, and then view those ratings alongside Mercer | Sirota’s employee engagement and satisfaction benchmark data. Customers can compare their own employee ratings against overall averages for the same questions, or they can even drill-down to compare only companies in their own country or same vertical industry.
Powered by Xander™, UltiPro Perception’s advanced natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning technology provides a modern way for organizations to easily survey their workforce, gather input, understand employee sentiment, and assess the effectiveness of teams and managers. Mercer | Sirota’s robust global benchmark data will integrate with Ultimate’s best-practice survey templates within UltiPro Perception. Mercer | Sirota will also provide Ultimate’s customers optional value-added consulting services for strategic guidance on survey design, execution, and follow up.
“Building upon our decade-long investment in artificial intelligence specifically focused on understanding people, the Mercer | Sirota relationship reinforces UltiPro Perception’s leadership in employee sentiment and feedback,” said Adam Rogers, CTO, Ultimate Software. “Mercer | Sirota has more than 50 years of experience in organizational assessment and research and we believe this initiative will help our customers gauge their success and identify opportunities to employ new strategies that can improve the employee experience and gain a competitive advantage.”
